Question 757 trumps plane
On what simulator ? Just to let everyone know it's not compatible Prepar3D v4, as stated on the webpage.

One of the common issues with fsx users is the misunderstanding of downloads, graphics, route to take to drive and the proper way to install files IF it isn't auto loaded. All computers don't use C: Drive, another issue is when doing the install manually you don't take a file with the heading or title and install it into the file with that heading.EXAMPLE. airplane to Microsoft Flight Simulator to Simobjects to airplane. If not done that way you end up with airplane in airplane and it doesn't show. Another issue is graphics. You're computer can handle anything if, you remove most shortcuts on the screen, go to control panel and appearances, advanced and click on performance, you don't need all of those transparent mice, and screen pleasantry., Go into the amount of bytes for screen and it is also ram, take it up to as much as 10 times the required, that'll give you more ram. My minimum is 1400 and it's set at 144000. I'm using a 2007 dual core HP 6000. I've over clocked my card and system, my graphics in the cfg file is set at 2048, the max, depends. Now you're screen, in that situation use an external large screen hd and you're computer will make the adjustments, on Win10, go into the settings, set high performance gaming. Memory crashes, go into cfg. Set as HIGHMEMFIX=1 Make sure that the first line an hit red button top left and save. To note, after you're in the sim use you're in game toolbar, make changes except settings, once in cfg you don't is that. I have my ai civilian and airlines set at 100, scenery tops which is 0 in cfg I don't use clouds unless I want. Always take toolbar in sim down and run mouse to far upper right hidden as this will cause stutters. I have over 4 million files on this 3.9 gig system. Now most important , keep you're computer temp at 70 f and lower, heating is a cause for glitches. Check your files make sure they are in order. If you have fs9 in the system causing issues go online and get AIT, that's will organize and rewrite your fs9 over to Fsx. Get to C-Aviation.net to get the paperwork to learn how to do cfg file. You can also go online to get the route to remove hidden temp files which is a major cause of failures in the program. For more computer speed get a USB memory card of the highest gigs you can find, install it, go into advanced and set it for speed, that'll give you all of the ram and speed you'll need. I'm on my phone so there's only so much I can relate. Next time I'll copy my computer set up and upload pics to show you what I'm attempting to convey. Semper Fidelis, Happy Trails.
