Sound problem with the default Boeing 747 (FSX)

Unread post by Tillon »

Hi guys!

When I fly with any default fsx Boeing 747 I can't get sound (engines, controls,...).
I tried to restart everything and repair FSX with the CD-ROM but nothing helps.
Does somebody know how to fix this?

Thanks!

When any other aircraft are providing correct sounds I presume the 747 sound files are corrupt or your sound.cfg is missing or empty in your Sounds folder of the 747....

Also check if you didn't hit q accidently which mutes the sound in FSX.

You can try to download a third party sound pack (there are many free ones) and see if you like them...

I am also very poor in identification and application skills are not very good. Hopefully there will be lessons learned here. Thanks!
