New Boeing 737-MAX8 Multi-Livery download

Unread post by jacobmulder »

Hi I have just completed a flight with the New 737 Max which I downloaded today 24-02-2020, and there are some obvious faults in the package and this makes me question if you at Rikoooo check the download before release.

First is the obvious fault of the engine, they are still with the Flat at the bottom of the engines.

With the Panel Light switch in the ON" position, there are no Panel Lights ON when flying at night time all various Cockpit views are dark.

Landing Lights and Taxi, as well as Navigation and Strobe lights and Anti Collision lights, are very hard to see during day time.

Last but not least The KLM and Transavia liveries are in the old Liveries.

Apart from that all functions that are meant to function work as I did an Instrument ILS Approach into Amsterdam Airport with heavy rain and strong wind until switching Off the AutoPilot at Minimum Altitude.

Kind Regards.

Another issue is rattling sound that is heard all the time. Also I think it would be good to finally remove upper windscreens that aren't used at these late models.

Hi Bob,

Most of the issues you have said are not "issues" but come from the fact you didn't make further researches.

First the engines on the new 737-Max8 ARE NOT TOTALLY ROUNDED but a bit flat at bottom, YES less than the 737-800 but it's still visible and the 3D model of Hiroshi Igami is perfectly modeled and 100% ACCURATE.

For the light: all lights are controlled from the Utility Panel as EXPLAINED on the download page.

"Last but not least The KLM and Transavia liveries are in the old Liveries" If I would have the most recent repaints I would add them but I don't

HansM : About the rattling sound this can be fixed and I will fix it ASAP.

Thank you very much

I really enjoyed flying the 737-max8. I selected the British airways livery, and flew, climbing to 36,000 feet and then put the engines into idle and managed to land back on the tarmac. it responded beautifully and positively. I will make some adjustments to the cockpit lights and fix the problem of electrics being permanently on. On the whole, very well done guys, I congratulate you and thank you on your wonderful project.

Hi Eric

I have the Lights sorted took me a while to find the Utility panel am at the moment flying at night, I like to make you aware that the Runway TurnOff Light Switches control the Panel Lights when switching them Off from the Virtual Cockpit view, overall it is a big improvement on the standard FSX 737 aircraft.
Thank you.

Hi
There is one important thing that has still not been corrected, indeed the altimeter indicates MB when it should indicate IN! When you move the mouse over the adjustment button in the Baro Std table, it now indicates the IN but does not correct them. On the LEDs it always indicates the values in MB! I still think it is a flight problem that deserves the attention of programmers. Thank you for your attention.
The various headlights or spotlights and lights are functional in this add-on.
Thanks to Rikoooo, Best Regards
