Hi Erik,

Yes I did so. I had no downloads underway, subscribed for a Jumbo account, logged back on to the site afresh. I am currently downloading part of Hawaii Vol 3 and the speed is 173 kb/s which is the highest it has reached, sometimes it is lower. I am also not able to download more than one file at a time, if I try to download a second file I get this message:

Vous ne pouvez pas télécharger plus de 10 fichiers simultanés ou avoir plus de 10 connexions par IP
Veuillez patienter jusqu'à la fin de l'un de vos téléchargements
You can not download more than 10 files at a time or having more than 10 connexions per IP
Please wait until the end of one of your download

This seems very strange as I am only downloading one file.

I am using Free Download Manager.

Hello Gringo,

Ok where are you located ? (which country ?)

As jumbo member you can download up to 10 simultaneous files which mean you can have 10 connections with your IP. When using Free Download Manager the program use all 10 connections available to speed up one download, so it download 10 different parts of the file which is counting as 10 downloads by our system. So this is the explanation of your message.

As for the speed, I need to know what is your country.

I'm in Bolivia.

The explanation about Free Download Manager using up all my ten download possibilities is helpful (and a bit sad - I had hoped to enjoy simultaneous downloads, but if I don't use FDM the connection usually times out, so is not an option).
