Overview
Patrick Le Luyer’s Airbus Military A400M v2.0, updated by Andreas Rotowski, includes a GMax model, virtual cockpit, custom sounds and four liveries: Royal Air Force, French Air Force, German Air Force and camouflage. Rikoooo adapted the gauges for Prepar3D v4 in the 1 December 2018 update.
Version 2.0 expands the cockpit with battery, avionics, NAV/GPS, autobrake, lighting, de-icing, fuel-pump and generator switches. It adds master warning, TCAS alert, gear status lights, an FMC, fuel page, EICAS and callouts. The electrical system is reworked, with new right-seat and centre views alongside the April 2015 flight-model and camera revisions.
On the real aircraft, adjacent propellers on each wing turn in opposite directions, with their blades moving down between the engines: the Down Between Engines arrangement. These are separate propeller pairs, rather than two contra-rotating propellers on one shaft.
