Overview
This Boeing 717-200 for FSX and Prepar3D is credited to Alejandro Rojas Lucena and David Robles. The video below presents the model.
Developed from the McDonnell Douglas MD-95 programme and the DC-9 family, the real 717 was designed for short, high-frequency routes carrying around one hundred passengers. It first flew in September 1998, with the first delivery to AirTran Airways in September 1999, according to Boeing’s historical archive.
That regional role provides a setting for simulated flights where climb, descent and approach make up a substantial part of each sector.
