Overview
This Boeing 727-200 comes in DHL and FedEx liveries, with an advanced virtual cockpit, FMC and custom sounds. Chris Evans assembled and prepared the package for FSX/Prepar3D from work by Thomas Ruth, Tenkuu Developers Studio, Luis Quintero, Garrett Smith, Luis Perina and Cheese Strike.
The FMC assists with navigation preparation, while the 3D flight deck allows the flight to be conducted from the virtual cockpit. The two liveries suit cargo rotations between regional airports and freight hubs.
The real 727 is recognisable by its three rear-mounted engines and T-tail. Its elaborate high-lift system was designed for shorter runways, a key part of its short- and medium-haul role. Type history at The Museum of Flight.
