Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker Package FSX & P3D

Gary D. Shetter III’s Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker package is for FSX SP2 and was also tested by Rikoooo in Prepar3D v4.5. It includes a full virtual cockpit and the refuelling operator’s compartment.

Optimised for multiplayer, it provides animated booms and camera views for aerial refuelling. The configurations include a standard boom, a boom with a drogue attachment, and MPRS on the R model.

The author recommends adding Andy Niko and Jivko Rusev’s In-Flight Refueling Gauge for FSX to the receiving aircraft. This supplementary gauge is separate from the tanker model.

The real KC-135, like the 707, was derived from the Boeing 367-80 demonstrator. Initially intended to refuel strategic bombers, it also supported tactical aircraft. Successive versions are distinguished in part by their J57, TF33 and CFM56 engines.
