Overview
This FS2004 DHC-2 Beaver Alaska Tours represents a floatplane associated with Thorne Bay, Alaska. Steve Grant’s model, with work by Michael Woolsey, includes a three-dimensional interior and sounds.
The paint scheme and floats provide a natural starting point for sightseeing along the coast or between Alaska’s waterways. The 3D interior also lets you take in the scenery from inside the aircraft.
The real Beaver was designed for bush operations using wheels, skis or floats. It first flew in 1947, and the larger DHC-3 Otter later extended the family.
