Embraer EMB-120 Mega Pack FSX & P3D

This Embraer EMB-120 package includes the aircraft model, virtual cockpit, 2D panel, custom sounds, manual, checklists, references and over thirty liveries. The real aircraft is a Brazilian thirty-seat twin turboprop.

Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations converted Eric Cantu’s model to native FSX format, with Prepar3D v4 support. Rikoooo assembled the pack and corrected several Aircraft.cfg parameters, with screenshots and inspiration from Chris Evans.

The aircraft is primarily flown from Marcus Gama’s dedicated 2D panel. The virtual cockpit uses the default FSX King Air cockpit remapped with EMB-120 gauges. Adam Murphy’s sounds were made for this model, and bump maps bring out surface detail in the textures.

Prepar3D v4 limitation: the cockpit GPWS and other alarms that depend on the 32-bit sound gauge do not work. The restriction concerns this sound function; the remaining package is listed as compatible.

First start-up

The manual is in Documents / Doc panel (or My Documents) and covers procedures including a Cold & Dark start.

• If the PFD, MFD and radios remain unpowered, switch Radio Master to On on the right of the 2D panel.
• The autopilot AP engagement button is on the throttle panel, above the radios.
• Release the yellow safety lever above the throttles before applying full power; otherwise throttle travel remains limited to about 10% N1.
