Overview
Formosa X depicts Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport as it appeared in 2012. Houting Chiang, Rudolf Liu, Jack Su and Mike Huang created the airport buildings and nearby landmarks with GMax, including animated radars and people movers.
Runways, taxiways and aprons were repositioned from satellite imagery. Aircraft parking follows the AIP data used when the project was developed. Photographic terrain around Taoyuan and improved landclass complete the scenery.
