Overview

Alejandro Rojas Lucena's FSND Boeing 727-200 is a native FSX SP2 model. It has a complete, animated virtual cockpit with calibrated instruments. The project description reports that real pilots evaluated its flight behaviour.

The four supplied liveries are American Airlines, Viasa, Northwest and Lufthansa. The model is shared with Alejandro Rojas Lucena's permission; his other creations appear on the FSND website.

The real 727 first flew on 9 February 1963. Boeing designed it to serve airports with shorter runways than those used by the 707. Triple-slotted flaps and an auxiliary power unit helped it operate from less well-equipped airfields.
