Overview
This David Maltby package brings the Trident 2 and 3 to FS2004 with six liveries, animations, a comprehensive instrument panel and a virtual cockpit. The two versions offer different forms of the British trijet for short and medium-haul flying.
The real Trident originated at de Havilland and was built by Hawker Siddeley around British European Airways' requirements. It played an important part in bringing automatic landing into airline service.
The variants are worth distinguishing: the Trident 2E emphasised range, while the longer 3B added a small RB162 booster engine for take-off alongside its three Speys.
