Overview
This Firefox for FS2004 is based on the imaginary aircraft from Clint Eastwood’s 1982 film. It is not a model of the real MiG-31 interceptor. Owen Smoot created the aircraft, with textures by Kurt Beswick.
In the film, Firefox is described as capable of Mach 6, radar evasion and thought-controlled weapons. Those abilities belong to the fictional story; they are not presented here as systems implemented in FS2004.
The video below accompanies this fictional aircraft and the film that inspired its design.
