Overview
Tim “Piglet” Conrad’s Pilatus PC-7 v2.0 for FSX includes two models, eight textures and a virtual cockpit with front and rear positions. This version updates the textures, gauges and flight model of the earlier release.
The liveries are Swiss Air Force, Botswana Defence Force, Alaska State Forestry, Austrian Air Force, Abu Dhabi Air Force, U.S. Civil Register “Benpuppy Tribute”, Uruguay Air Force and Bare Metal.
On the Alaska State Forestry model, a switch on the left console behind the throttle shows or hides the external tanks. The rear cockpit’s GPS is disabled to prevent the forward instruments from showing through incorrectly. Tim Conrad’s instructions for version 2.0 explain these details.
The real PC-7 is a low-wing tandem-seat aircraft developed in Switzerland for pilot training, including aerobatics and instrument flying. Created by Piglet’s Peculiar Planes.
