Overview
Shehryar Ansari and the contributing authors’ Richmond International Airport (KRIC) scenery recreates the airport serving Virginia’s capital. It covers airline facilities as well as the activities around the runways.
FedEx and UPS cargo facilities, general-aviation operators (FBOs), flight schools and the Pro-Medica air-ambulance base are represented. A military area occupies the southeast corner. To the north, the scenery retains the Virginia Aviation Museum, with an SR-71 and an F-14 displayed nearby.
Search for KRIC to visit in the simulator. The activities and museum described here belong to the period represented by the scenery, providing landmarks for private flights, cargo operations and passenger services.
