Overview
Wolfgang Piper’s version 7b of the Schleicher ASK 21 for FS2004 offers front and rear cockpit positions. You can choose the student’s or instructor’s viewpoint for your simulated flights.
The real ASK 21 is a 17 m span two-seater designed by Rudolf Kaiser. It was developed for training, from initial circuits to cross-country flying, and is also used for aerobatics.
The two seating positions have a practical value here: the view of the nose and runway changes with the seat. Flying the same approach from each position is a useful way to compare those references.
