Airbus A380-800 FlyByWire (A380X) — MSFS 2024

FlyByWire Simulations’ A380X recreates the Airbus A380-800 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on PC. This listing covers stable release 2024.1.0 with 4K textures. This edition works in MSFS 2024 through a non-native Community package; the MSFS 2020 edition is listed separately.

Flight preparation and cockpit

The cockpit includes the A380 FMS and the flyPad tablet. Import a SimBrief flight to retrieve the operational flight plan, fuel and payload data, then check the route, departure and arrival in the FMS. Flight plans can also be entered manually.

Before the first departure, configure the controls and calibrate the throttles. The A380X beginner guide follows a flight from preparation at the gate to engine shutdown. The preflight guide covers navigation data and loading. Navigraph charts require the relevant services and subscription; they are not included with the aircraft.

MSFS 2024 on PC, installed in Community. Stable 2024.1.0, 4K textures. Compatible non-native MSFS 2024 edition; do not install into MSFS 2020. Not flight-tested by Rikoooo.

Close the simulator before installation. Install this edition into the MSFS 2024 Community folder, independently of the other edition. If another A380X copy is managed by the FlyByWire Installer or another tool, remove or disable that copy with its own tool first. Configure the controls and calibrate the throttles as described in the FlyByWire documentation. Check that navigation-data AIRAC cycles used for planning match the simulator. External accounts and services, including SimBrief and Navigraph, are managed separately. Keep the official asobo-vcockpits-instruments-airliners component at version 0.1.129 or later and fs-base-aircraft-common at version 0.1.125 or later. The aircraft manifest requires these simulator resources; they are not supplied in this package.

Some real-aircraft functions remain in development; the author’s documentation describes available features and known issues. Gallery images are official project illustrations, not visual verification of this exact release. Not flight-tested by Rikoooo. This edition uses a non-native Community package for MSFS 2024.
