Cessna T-37B Tweet

VrilleAPlat’s Cessna T-37B depicts the compact twin-engine jet trainer with side-by-side seating. The cockpit includes analogue instruments and a settings tablet, with several liveries supplied.

Engine starting requires attention: the model simulates hot starts and hung starts. The tablet provides options for some systems, including hot-start simulation. The canopy, lighting and effects are also part of the aircraft’s equipment.

Full English and French manuals, simplified checklists in both languages and a DME/VOR pairing document accompany the aircraft. The manual also explains how to restore the canopy after a failure.

Shared package supported in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 by VrilleAPlat. This is not a separate native 2024 edition.

Close the canopy before flight. With hot-start simulation enabled, follow the manual’s starting procedure; Ctrl+E is unsuitable for that setting. Hot-start simulation can be disabled on the tablet.

For MSFS 2024, the author reports that the pilot is not visible and smoke or fire effects can be intermittent.
