Présentation

ali501 recreates Kai Tak, Hong Kong’s airport that closed in 1998, in MSFS 2020. Its runway extending into the water and runway 13 approach over Kowloon return to the bay, including the visual turn near Checkerboard Hill.

The terminal, parking stands and HAECO hangars provide views of the former airport from the ground. Modelled interiors and night lighting complement the cockpit views.

Compatibilité

Edition for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Base scenery without optional AI traffic.

Conseils d’installation

Remove any other Kai Tak version in the simulator’s Content Manager to avoid overlapping runways.

Limites connues

The author’s optional AI traffic is not installed in this edition. Some gallery images show that traffic.

Notes de version

Version 4.2 includes several scenery fixes.
