Overview
This Antonov An-124 is a native FSX model, listed for Prepar3D v4 and later by the package description. It uses work by Thomas Ruth and Douglas E. Trapp, reworked by Andiroto. A 2D panel, a functional virtual cockpit and custom sounds are included.
The August 2019 update adds Dietmar Loleit's TCAS, Garrett Smith's FMC and a flight-engineer (FE) panel. It also includes three new repaints, reworked textures and revised flight-dynamics and configuration files.
The real Ruslan was developed by the Antonov design bureau for heavy and oversized cargo. The An-124-100 has a stated payload of 120 tonnes, distinct from modernised versions capable of carrying 150 tonnes.
Nose loading, an integral ramp and onboard handling equipment allow it to transport vehicles and industrial equipment. These missions suggest cargo flights between airfields able to accommodate a transport of this size.
Release notes
Added TCAS,FMC, a new FE panel and reworked the texture from the 210 package to 3 new textures for this version.
Reworked also the air file and the aircraft.cfg for some gauges.
Use Dietmar Loleit for the TCAS and Garrett Smith for the FMC.
Compatible with Prepar3D v4+
