Overview
This Antonov An-225 adaptation by Thomas Ruth, with repaints by ricardo_tv, imagines the Mriya as a passenger airliner. It is a fictional version for FSX and Prepar3D.
Six finishes are included: Air France, American Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa, an all-white scheme and Antonov’s own colours. The airline liveries are part of this fictional interpretation for the simulator.
The real An-225 first flew on 21 December 1988. It was designed to carry the Buran shuttle and components of the Energiya rocket, handling oversized loads rather than commercial passengers. That role explains the model’s unusual dimensions.
