Overview
This revised Vulcan B2 uses AlphaSim’s model, converted to native FSX format by Sim-Outhouse’s Cirrus N210MS with its original virtual cockpit. Flanker256 reworked Aircraft.cfg to address the radios, flap-related configuration and electrical buses.
The revision improves ground steering and adds lighting and smoke effects. XML gauges update the virtual cockpit, where the autopilot is now operational. Separate 2D panels provide radar and throttle controls.
This is a complete aircraft with sounds and effects. The changes were tested in Prepar3D v4 and v5. Read the Docs folder, particularly ALPHA_Vulcan_mod.pdf, for the modifications and credits.
The real Vulcan, designed by A. V. Roe to specification B.35/46, is a tailless delta-wing strategic bomber. It served with the Royal Air Force from 1956 to 1984.
