Overview
Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas and Damian Radice present the Beechcraft AT-11 for FS2004, with sounds by Gary Jones. Their reproduction depicts a training aircraft distinguished by its glazed nose.
The real AT-11 Kansan was a military development of the Beechcraft Model 18 used to train USAAF bombardiers and gunners. Its transparent nose, bomb bay and practice-bomb racks served that role. Two 450 hp Pratt & Whitney R-985 engines powered the aircraft.
To reflect its training role in the simulator, plan a navigation route followed by a steady approach.
