Overview
This FS2004 version of Massimo Taccoli, D. G. Seeley and Dave Eckert's Canadair CL-215 features a substantially revised 3D model; the authors report reworking 90% of the modelling.
The virtual cockpit has night lighting and animated levers and pedals. The door and ladder, cowling details and exhaust-smoke effects also form part of the model's animations.
Three texture sets represent Italian and Spanish civil users and Newfoundland and Labrador. The CL-215 is a Canadian-designed amphibian developed for aerial firefighting, distinct from later turboprop versions.
Read the supplied documentation for this version's controls and performance. The authors state that they used official reference data. The FSX/Prepar3D version has a separate page and different package contents.
