Bombardier CRJ-200 Full Pack FSX & P3D

This Bombardier CRJ-200 is Rikoooo’s conversion of Mitsushi Yutaka’s POSKY model, made with his permission. Two native models are supplied for FSX and Prepar3D. The original descriptions disagree on the minimum Prepar3D version: v4.1 in French and v4.2 in English. Use at least Prepar3D v4.2 for this edition as the cautious choice. David Hoeffgen’s virtual cockpit is included with his permission and remains a beta version.

The conversion used ModelConverterX and Blender. It retains the animations and adds bloom, Emissive MultiplyBlend materials, Global Environment Map reflections and blend diffuse by diffuse alpha. Rikoooo revised the night textures and alpha channel for metallic reflections and converted the textures to DXT5.

Cockpit and systems

The cockpit is derived from the default FSX CRJ700. Consult the virtual-cockpit manual for its operating details.

• Provision for an FMC, with custom BMP artwork by Rikoooo for the Honeywell FMC.
• Independently configurable MFD and EICAS displays for the captain and first officer.
• Windscreen rain effects and working 3D wipers.
• Stall and overspeed protection, plus an autoland function.
• Rob Barendregt’s GPWS, visual corrections, additional animations and gauge functions.

The CF34 engine sounds are by Christoffer Peterson. Rikoooo added No smoking and Seatbelt announcements. The GPWS includes altitude callouts and warnings such as Approaching Minimums, Terrain Terrain and Sink rate.

Included corrections

The May 2018 updates correct aileron and rudder animations and flight numbers in Prepar3D v4. Simon Kelly revised weight, fuel quantities and other Aircraft.cfg parameters, and added a checklist and reference list. The installer was also updated.
