Comco Ikarus C42 Red-Cross FS2004

This edition of the Comco Ikarus C42 in French Red Cross colours is for FS2004. It includes a virtual cockpit, custom gauges and custom sounds. A separate FSX and Prepar3D version is available.

Bringing Arc en Ciel into the simulator

ESAT director and aviation enthusiast Joël Soler helped develop the French Red Cross’s Arc en Ciel operation to introduce children and adults with disabilities to microlight flying. Pilots with disabilities were also part of the project’s team.

Erik Bender, founder of Rikoooo, and Thomas Guiart volunteered to prepare the package and repaint, using Byron Warwick’s 3D model. Their contribution brings a recreation of the operation’s microlight into the simulator.

Presented for the Red Cross’s 150th anniversary, the partnership sought to raise awareness of the association’s work, promote Arc en Ciel and encourage sponsorship.
