Overview
This Comco Ikarus C42 in French Red Cross colours is available for FSX and Prepar3D. It includes a virtual cockpit, custom gauges and custom sounds. A separate FS2004 version is also available.
The 31 August 2018 update converts the model to native FSX and Prepar3D v4 format. It adds normal-map textures, corrects visual issues, improves the 3D model and adds door animations in the virtual cockpit. The package uses installer v10.5.

Supporting the Arc en Ciel project
Through the initiative of ESAT director and aviation enthusiast Joël Soler, the French Red Cross’s Arc en Ciel operation offered children and adults with disabilities the chance to discover microlight flying. Pilots with disabilities were themselves an important part of the project.
Erik Bender, founder of Rikoooo, and Thomas Guiart volunteered to create the package and its repaint using Byron Warwick’s 3D model. The simulator version helped raise awareness of the operation and its work, alongside the search for sponsors.
The partnership was presented for the Red Cross’s 150th anniversary. The material and photographs below document that collaboration.
