Convair 580 FSX

Brett Henderson and Alejandro Rojas Lucena's Convair 580 is a native FSX model with high-resolution textures and a functional virtual cockpit adapted from the Convair 240. Its animations include a retractable stairway, while the flight dynamics aim to capture the character of this older turboprop.

Three liveries are included: North Central Airlines, Frontier Airlines and DHL. They provide both classic passenger-airline and freight-operator appearances.

The real CV-580 was converted from piston-powered Convair 340 or 440 airframes. Two Allison turboprops replaced the original engines, accompanied by an enlarged fin and modified horizontal stabilisers. The historical description also credited Pilotes du Feu for aircraft background.
