Avro Lancaster TP464 DB AJJ v6 FSX & P3D

This FSX and Prepar3D edition combines the Plane-Design Lancaster with Ross McLennan’s prepared flights retracing the RAF 617 Squadron raid on the Möhne and Eder dams during the night of 16–17 May 1943.

Version 6 revises the routes using more detailed published research. The author points out that sources still disagree on some details: the project helps explain the operation without claiming to reproduce every challenge faced by the crews.

Flight plans: open Start → All Programs → Rikoooo Add-ons → Avro Lancaster TP464 DB AJJ v6 FSX & P3D → FlightSimulatorFiles.

The author’s work was informed by studying “Just Jane’s” cockpit and visiting the Eder dam. Low-level navigation along the route provides context for the terrain and the historical flight path.
