Overview
Craig Richardson, working as Rara-Avis Sims, presents this Corben Baby Ace for FSX/P3D. Robert Kerr gave permission to use his “Pete” gauges in this adaptation.
The Baby Ace belongs to the early history of plans-built homebuilt aircraft: Orland Corben’s plans went on sale in 1929. Corben also designed the Junior Ace and Super Ace for the Ace Aircraft Manufacturing Company.
EAA records a later chapter in that history: construction articles about Paul Poberezny’s Baby Ace in Mechanix Illustrated in 1955 helped bring homebuilding to a wider audience.
