Overview

Massimo Taccoli and Jean-Pierre Langer's Breguet Atlantic 1 for FS2004 includes five liveries and custom sounds. The model brings the twin-turboprop maritime patrol aircraft to the simulator.

The real Br 1150 Atlantic was designed specifically for maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine work, rather than being adapted from an airliner. Its two Rolls-Royce Tyne turboprops and long endurance suited extended patrols over water.

The Atlantic 1 should be distinguished from the later Atlantique 2. A coastal route or an offshore patrol returning to its departure base offers a suitable flight to plan with this model.
