Overview
Craig Richardson’s ERCO Ercoupe 415C package is intended for FSX and Prepar3D. This low-wing two-seater is easily recognised by its tricycle landing gear and twin fins, an unusual combination among light aircraft of its era.
On the real aircraft, Fred Weick’s design linked the ailerons, rudders and nosewheel through coupled controls, dispensing with rudder pedals in the original configuration. This describes the Ercoupe’s history, rather than the control assignments in your simulator. The family originated before the Second World War and was subsequently built by several manufacturers.
