Overview
The aircraft and cockpit support only FSX and FSX Steam. Benoit Gaurant recreates Air Inter’s Fokker F27-500 using the airline’s documentation. The package includes a custom 3D model and virtual cockpit, dedicated sounds and flight dynamics, and DLL-based instruments.
Detailed PDF manuals are provided in French and English. They explain the systems and the SFENA Tapir 1b autopilot characteristic of this cockpit. The layout is close to that of the F27-500s used by Air France’s postal operation.
Three liveries
- Air Inter 1968, with French cockpit labels.
- Air Inter 1980s–1990s, with French cockpit labels.
- Neutral white, with English cockpit labels.
Introduced in 1967, the F27-500 was a stretched version with a cargo door and Rolls-Royce Dart Mk 532-7 engines. It could carry 50 passengers; Air Inter operated seven from 1968.
