Overview
Daan Kaasjager, also known as Dutcheeseblend, recreates the Fokker T.5’s interior from nose to tail. Working crew stations, a detailed exterior and high-resolution textures with bump and specular mapping make this a particularly thorough representation.
The main systems are custom-coded from original documentation and operating instructions. Period equipment includes the radio, and a working bombsight is supplied. Gary Jones created the Bristol Pegasus sound set; additional custom sounds accompany controls throughout the interior.
The manual covers history, equipment and operating procedures. A detailed checklist and the video tutorials below help with flight preparation and understanding the various crew stations.
The real T.5 was a late-1930s, mid-wing twin-engine bomber of mixed construction, operated by a five-man crew. Sixteen were built for the Dutch forces. It could carry up to 1,200 kg of bombs, with a nose cannon and three defensive gun positions.
