Overview
Craig Richardson’s complete Ford Tri-Motor package brings this early airliner to FSX and Prepar3D. Its three engines and corrugated metal skin give it the distinctive appearance of the first generation of all-metal transports.
Ford built 199 aircraft between 1926 and 1933. At a time when wood and fabric construction remained common, the type carried passengers and freight and also served military operators. Its enclosed cabin and metal structure reflect an important stage in the development of commercial air travel.
