Overview
Shehryar “Shez” Ansari’s scenery recreates Fort Wayne International Airport in Indiana for Prepar3D. A separate FSX and FSX Steam version is also available.
Both main general-aviation service centres are modelled: Fort Wayne Aero Center in the central area and Atlantic Aviation northwest of the main terminal. The civilian airport adjoins the Indiana Air National Guard’s 122nd Fighter Wing base, where A-10 Thunderbolt IIs reflect the military activity of the period depicted.
Originally a Second World War military base called Baer Field, the airport serves northeast Indiana. The author describes a mix of regional services, private aviation and freight, including FedEx and UPS operations.
