Overview
Gauges Effects Recover 2.3, previously called Gauges Recovery v1.2, is a Rikoooo utility that restores original files in your simulator's Gauges and Effects folders.
It can help when missing files cause absent instruments, missing effects or instability. Repairing these components may avoid a full reinstall, though it is not a universal fix for every simulator problem.
The tool also provides a DLL fix for issues involving MSVCP70.DLL, msvcr70.dll and UIAutomationCore.dll, which can be associated with crashes or missing gauges. Version 2.3 fixes a file-copying problem.
Supported versions:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator X, all versions, and FSX Steam Edition.
- Prepar3D 1.4, 2.5, 3.4 and 4.5.
