Overview
Kirk Olsson and Danny Garnier's Gmax Mirage F1 brings together two models and six textures, with a virtual cockpit, a functional 2D panel, custom sounds and afterburner effects.
The installation choice matters: select the FSX/FSX SP1 variant or the FSX SP2/Acceleration variant to match your setup. If the virtual cockpit displays incorrectly, reinstall the package using the option corresponding to your simulator.
Documentation is available from the Start menu under Rikoooo Add-on → Gmax Mirage F1 Package v2.5. Read it for the aircraft's controls and particular features.
The real Mirage F1 differs from delta-wing Mirages through its swept wing. Dassault was seeking improved low-speed approach capability; the prototype first flew on 23 December 1966.
