Overview

Milton Shupe and Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations' Grumman E-1B Tracer is a native FSX and Prepar3D model. The March 2019 update adds Prepar3D v4 compatibility. It has a fully animated virtual cockpit, and the video demonstrates its sound set.

The real Tracer provided airborne radar warning for the US Navy with two pilots and two radar operators. Originally designated WF-2, it became E-1B in 1962. The National Naval Aviation Museum describes its carrier service and the origins of the nicknames “Willy Fudd” and “Stoof With A Roof”.
