Overview
The Grumman G-73 Mallard is offered for FSX, Prepar3D and FS2004. The February 2018 update applies only to the native FSX/Prepar3D edition, which supports Prepar3D v4 and has fifteen liveries; it does not update the FS2004 version.

The real Mallard was developed for the post-war civilian market, following the Goose and Widgeon. It accommodated ten passengers, and Grumman built 59 between 1946 and 1951.
The twin-engine amphibian combines a high wing, underwing floats and retractable tricycle landing gear. Its two-step hull and wingtip fuel tanks distinguish it from the family’s smaller amphibians. Some real aircraft were later converted to turboprop power.
