Overview

This Grumman S2 Turbo represents the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s airtankers. Milton Shupe and his team’s package includes three liveries, a virtual cockpit, dedicated gauges and panels, and aircraft sounds.

Rachel “Firekitten” Whiteford’s CDF textures use bump and specular mapping. A retardant-drop effect supports simulated fire-fighting passes.

The supplied documentation explains the drop procedure. After installation, find it in Documents or My Documents, depending on your Windows version. Scott Thomas, Tom Fliger and Nigel Richards also contributed; Jan Visser modelled the pilot figure.
