Overview
Rick Piper’s Hawker-Siddeley HS.748 includes six models — 2A, 2B, AEW, Cargo, CargoLFD and paxLFD — and ninety-four liveries. With the author’s permission and support, Rikoooo converted the original FS2004 model to native FSX and Prepar3D v4 formats.
The package includes a virtual cockpit, 2D panel, manual, documentation, checklists and references. Fraser McKay’s sounds reproduce the HS.748, and the textures use DDS format without mipmaps. The flight dynamics draw on real data and input from an experienced former RAF pilot.
Originally designed by Avro in the late 1950s, the HS.748 is a turboprop transport developed for regional services and short-runway operations. The larger, stretched BAe ATP followed from it.
