Overview
IRIS’s P-40 Warhawk brings together the P-40E, P-40F, P-40L, P-40N and two-seat TP-40N trainer for FSX. Its 22 textures represent several operators, including the USAAF, Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force.
The virtual cockpit uses fully three-dimensional gauges whose movements can also be seen from outside. Weathered textures and several external configurations add detail: clean aircraft, external fuel tanks or bombs beneath the wings.
Flight dynamics are tailored to each variant. The selection allows comparison between the E model and Merlin-powered versions such as the P-40L, rather than providing identical handling under different paint schemes. The two-seater completes the package for training flights.
