Overview
Air France Fleet v2.1 brings together nineteen models for FSX SP2 or Acceleration and Prepar3D. It spans regional aircraft, narrowbodies, long-haul airliners and freighters from different generations of the airline’s fleet. This package is not compatible with FS2004.
Uninstall the previous version before installing this one. The cabin-announcement panel, available through the 2D panels, features recordings by an Air France purser. Cockpit provision differs between aircraft: the CRJ 1000NG has no virtual cockpit, and the Fokker 70 uses an MD-80 2D panel.
FSX installation
For an unexpanded FSX installation, install SP1 followed by SP2. Acceleration already includes the required components. These Rikoooo Service Pack downloads are for French-language FSX. Disable DirectX 10 Preview; the installer provides an option to do this.
Some older gauges require MSVCP70.DLL and msvcr70.dll. The installer can supply these libraries. “Flight1 VC Rain Fix”, intended for opaque cockpit glazing in rain under FSX SP2, is available from the Start menu under Rikoooo Add-ons and Air France Fleet v2 FSX & P3D.
Package revisions
- Version 2.1: Rikoooo’s day/night A380 2D panel, virtual-cockpit fixes inspired by Facked’s work and a HUD.
- Version 2.0: CRJ 1000NG, cabin announcements and Prepar3D adaptations. ERJ 135/145 and 777-200/300 cockpit glazing was corrected, and ERJ sounds restored.
- The 747 gained Alrot’s advanced virtual cockpit with FMC, wipers, corrected night lighting and revised contact points.
- The A380, Avro RJ85, Fokker 100 and EMB 120 received replacement models with virtual cockpits; Rikoooo also improved the EMB 120 textures. New black-background gauges were fitted to the 777s. Thumbnails were replaced and other defects corrected.
- Version 1.2: fixes to the A318, A319, A320 and A321 airspeed and altimeter gauges.
