Overview
This Lockheed L-1011 TriStar for FS2004 wears one Delta Airlines livery. Charles Dayhuff supplied the model, with sounds by Achim Buerger and Matt Ukena and a panel by David Durs.
The model is described as pleasant in flight, but minimum airspeed needs particular attention. Stabilise speed and configuration before final approach rather than allowing the aircraft to keep slowing excessively.
The real TriStar first flew on 16 November 1970. This widebody trijet is recognisable by its centre engine, fed through an intake at the base of the fin. Initial deliveries took place in 1972.
