Overview
Team FS KBT’s Lockheed P-3C Orion for FS2004 combines a detailed virtual cockpit, custom sounds and numerous textures, including US Navy and Canadian markings. The flight model aims to reflect the handling of this maritime patrol aircraft.
Three versions are supplied, including one without a virtual cockpit to reduce graphics load. The package also includes a bomb-release function within the simulator.
The real P-3 is a four-engine turboprop derived from the Lockheed L-188 Electra airliner. It entered US Navy service in 1962 and was designed for long maritime patrols.
