Overview
Philippe Marion reworked Thomas Ruth and Eric Cantu’s Lockheed L1011-100 TriStar for this classic-livery collection. The original exterior model is retained, with a new flight-dynamics Airfile and 4096 × 4096 DDS DXT5 textures featuring more detail and revised night lighting.
The virtual cockpit comes from Thomas Ruth’s DC-10, with minor texture changes, alongside the improved DC-10 V4 2D panel. It includes Garret Smith’s FMC, Dietmar Loleit’s TCAS, and Philippe Marion’s VSpeed, altitude-callout, Icons32, brake-sound and cockpit-sound gauges. Most use Doug Dawson’s XML Sound gauge.
The package adds Rolls-Royce RB211 sounds, including Aeromusica’s TriStar AI sounds, new effects and improved flight dynamics. The seventeen liveries include Air Canada, LTU, ANA, British Airways, British Caledonian, Air Afrique, Eastern, PSA, Delta, Hawaiian, TWA, Gulf Air, Saudia, Cathay and Dragonair.
Michael Pearson and Ricardo_tv supplied the original base repaints, and Rikoooo made minor corrections. Testing covered FSX Acceleration in DX10, FSX Steam Edition in DX9 and Prepar3D v1 through v5.
