Lockheed P-3C Orion FSX & P3D

Team FS KBT’s Lockheed P-3C Orion version 3.31 is offered for FSX and Prepar3D. It includes nine types, a full 3D virtual cockpit, custom sounds and several textures, including US Navy and Canadian markings.

Compared with version 2.9, the exterior and textures have been reworked, particularly the wings, flaps and engine nacelles. The flight model aims for realistic handling, and a bomb-release function is included.

The 5 July 2016 update introduced version 3.31 with DirectX 10 and later compatibility. The 1 December 2018 update added the Prepar3D v4 and later compatibility listed on this page, together with installer 10.5.

The real P-3 developed from the L-188 Electra airliner and entered US Navy service in 1962 for maritime patrol. Further background is available in this French P-3 Orion article. A separate FS2004 version is available.
