Overview
This SMS Overland McDonnell Douglas MD-11, originally a commercial FS2004 product and later released free, has been converted by Rikoooo to native FSX and Prepar3D format. The package supports Prepar3D v4.5+ and combines passenger and cargo versions with 32 repaints.
The virtual cockpit and 2D panel are accompanied by sounds from a real MD-11. Additions include an FMC, GPWS, Autoland, Ground Service and a V1, Vr and V2 speed gauge. The 9 December 2019 update fixes previously inoperative pushback.
All textures use DDS format, and panel.cfg and aircraft.cfg have been adapted. Repaint documents and credits are in their respective folders.
The real MD-11 developed the DC-10 family with a stretched fuselage, winglets and glass-cockpit avionics. The two package configurations cover both passenger and freight flying.
